This week’s Lakeshore Chinooks player announcements feature a player who is on a currently ranked team as well as players who are showing promise heading into the summer.

The Chinooks roster will feature a Fighting Irishman from Notre Dame. Donnie Hissa is a junior right-handed pitcher who can play the role of starting pitcher or come out of the bullpen in relief. The Fighting Irish are currently ranked #23 with a 10-3 record.

The Florida Gators will be sending a trio of young players to Lakeshore this summer. First up is Harrison Bader. Harrison is a freshman and will be joining the outfield platoon. Bader is considered Florida’s best centerfielder and has received a number of honors from Perfect Game. Mike Vinson is also a freshman and will be a part of the pitching staff for the Chinooks. Vinson was selected to the Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason Florida All-Region Team. Finally, coming out of Gainesville is Kevin Stypulkowski. Kevin will be sharing time with Darrell Miller Jr. behind the plate this summer. In 2012, Kevin was selected for the Florida All-Region 2nd team by Perfect Game.

Rounding out this week’s player announcements is Bryan Daniello from the University of Connecticut. The current Huskie is a jack of all trades–he can take the mound, play the infield or even take a spot in the outfield.

Make sure you’re there to catch these exciting new players this summer by securing your season ticket package or setting up your group outing today. The home opener at Kapco Park will be May 30th at 6:35pm as the Chinooks take on the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.
