Grafton, WI – Although the ground is covered with snow and ice, the Lakeshore Chinooks home opener is less than 50 days away. The 2018 season presented by Port Washington State Bank kicks off on June 1st at 6:35pm. The team is excited to announce our 2018 promotional schedule featuring past fan favorite promotions plus new and exciting promos throughout the 36 home game schedule.

Bobbleheads

The 2018 season will feature 6 bobblehead giveaways. This year’s bobblehead series will be the Local Legends Series featuring three individuals who were born and raised in Wisconsin and went on to play or coach professionally for the Brewers. The series consist of Jerry Augustine on June 2nd (1,000 available, Robert Haack Diamonds), Harvey Kuenn on June 10th (1,000 available, Metro Market), and Craig Counsell on August 5th (1,000 available, Miller High Life Theatre). Other bobblehead giveaways include former alumni and current Minnesota Twin, Zack Granite on June 16th (1,000 available, Gordon Food Service), Robin Yount motorcycle bobblehead on July 8th (1,000 available, Suburban Motors), and Vintage Gill on July 21st (1,000 available, Johnson Level & Tool).

The team will also be giving away an exclusive mini Beach Gill bobblehead when you play the bobblehead ring toss starting on June 1st. For the second year in a row, the Tackle Box will be selling a team store exclusive bobblehead featuring Gill at Kapco Park. The on sale date for the bobblehead will be announced soon.

August will wrap up the season with two giveaways: 2018 Team Trading Cards Set (1,000 available, Kohler Credit Union) and Hawaiian T-Shirt (1,000 available 13 & older, Wells Fargo).

Theme Nights & Appearances

There will be plenty of fun at Kapco Park with all of our theme nights and appearances throughout the summer. Theme nights and appearances set for June include: Milwaukee Brewers Night on June 2nd featuring the Brewers mascots, Star Wars Night (Town Bank) on June 3rd with a visit from popular characters from the movies, Education Day on June 6th with a pre game science experiment and program from Discovery World, June 8th will be Gill’s 7th Birthday Party (Cedar Crest Ice Cream) with all his mascot friends, the 8th will also be Gill’s Reading Challenge Night (Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin) where we honor all the kids who took part in Gill’s challenge, the superhero family The Incredibles (Marcus Theatres) will be stopping by Kapco Park on June 15th, we will honor all those great dads on Father’s Day (Usinger’s Famous Sausage) June 17th, Social Media Night makes a return on June 19th, we salute Cheese & Wine on June 29th (Cedar Valley Cheese Store), and American Hero Week returns June 26th, 27th, 29th where military/veterans/first responders receive half priced tickets.

July is packed with theme nights and appearances including: Military & Veteran’s Appreciation Day on July 2nd plus Kids & Seniors Day (VMP), Avengers Night featuring the Ant-Man and the other Avengers on July 6th (Marcus Theatres), bring your fury friend to Kapco Park on July 7th for Bark in the Park Night (The Feed Bag), we kick the ball around on July 9th for World Cup Night, Santa stops by for Christmas in July on the 12th (Thrivent Financial Tim Rennicke), Princess and Pirates Night on July 14th featuring a pre-game tea party and pirate party (Erik of Norway) and the night will end with post game fireworks (Global Industrial), Team Autograph Night on July 18th (North Shore Bank), we go back to the early 1900’s for Turn Back the Clock Night on July 21st in which we will be hosting our Vintage Jersey Auction (Thrivent Financial James P. Meyer), Faith & Family Day featuring Fish Sticks Comedy Show on July 22nd, and Mother’s Day in July on the 22nd (Allure Salon & Spa).

August will close out the season with the following promotions: Kids & Seniors Day on August 1st (VMP), Pro Wrestling Night featuring WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat on August 3rd (Robert Haack Diamonds), Bango and his crew come to Kapco Park on August 5th for Bucks Night (MAC 15 Enterprises), we thank the fans on August 9th at Fan Appreciation Night (Wells Fargo), for the first time ever it will be Hawaiian Night on August 10th (Highland House), Green & Gold Night on August 11th (SoLu Winery), and rounding out the promotion schedule will be Chinooks Win You Win on August 12th (Aurora Health Care).

Season tickets, mini game packages, group tickets are all available for purchase now. Single game tickets go on sale starting at Gill’s Grill Out on April 28th at Port Washington State Bank in Thiensville.

Our office located in Grafton (983 Badger Circle) is open Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Weekend hours will begin in May.
