Grafton, WI – The Lakeshore Chinooks are excited to announce a first time event coming to Kapco Park. In partnership with the Aurora Health Care Foundation, Kapco Park will be hosting the Mindful Tri Cancer Walk on Saturday, June 16th. The walk will benefit Aurora Cancer Care.

Here is the schedule of events:

8am to 9am: Registration
9am to 930am: Tri Part 1: Program and Stretch Exercises
930am: Tri Part 2: Walk
9am to 11am: Tri Part 3: Relaxation Techniques

For the walk, the Lakeshore Chinooks organization is putting together a walk team and are looking for Nook Nation to get involved. Fans can join our walk team and help us raise funds in which 100% of the proceeds will be going to Aurora Cancer Care. Registration is free for the walk in the event an individual wants to participate but cannot donate. The team is also accepting donations from individuals who can’t join our walk team. Again, 100% of the proceeds will go to Aurora Cancer Care.

The Chinooks front office have created four different levels of donations below:

Single – $25 Donation
– Chinooks Cancer Walk Team T-Shirt
– Chinooks Baseball Hat

Double – $50 Donation
– Chinooks Cancer Walk Team T-Shirt
– Chinooks Baseball Hat
– Gill Cancer Walk Bobblehead

Triple – $75 Donation
– Chinooks Cancer Walk Team T-Shirt
– Chinooks Baseball Hat
– Gill Cancer Walk Bobblehead
– 2 Tickets to a Chinooks Game

Home Run – $100 Donation
– Chinooks Cancer Walk Team T-Shirt
– Chinooks Baseball Hat
– Gill Cancer Walk Bobblehead
– 2 Tickets to a Chinooks Game
– 1 Ticket to the Robin’s Nest on June 26th (Includes Food & Beverage)

The Gill Cancer Walk Bobblehead is limited to 125 bobbles made. Only 50 bobbles will be available for those who make a $50 donation but can not attend the walk. The rest of the bobbleheads will be available only for those who attend the walk and make a $50 donation. Items you receive from donating can be picked up at Kapco Park following the walk on June 16th.

Registration for the walk is now open and donations can now be accepted by the Chinooks. Help Gill and the team raise funds for Aurora Cancer Care and help put an end to cancer.
