Grafton, WI – Dallas Beaver (UCF) and Jack Dunn (Northwestern) were recently named Northwoods League Post-Season All-Stars. Coaching staffs and a member of the media from each team vote on the post-season selections.

Dallas Beaver who had his first stint with the Chinooks in 2018 played at multiple positions including catcher, first base, and third base. He ended the season second in hitting with an average of .302. He would lead the team in Hits (60) and RBI’s (30). Beaver would finish second on the team for Runs (34) and Home Runs (4). Dallas participated in the Northwoods League Major League Dream Showcase back in early August as well. He will now head back to the Orlando area as he prepares for another season at the University of Central Florida.

Jack Dunn, who was named Northwoods League All-Star Game MVP and participated in the Major League Dreams Showcase adds the post-season honors to his list of accomplishments in 2018. The 2017 Robin Yount Award winner returned to Lakeshore this summer for his second season with the club. He would lead the team in hitting with an average of .316. He lead the Nooks in Runs (35) and was second in Hits (54). Dunn now gears up for his final season at Northwestern.

The 2018 season recently wrapped up with the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders winning the Northwoods League Championship over the Duluth Huskies. The Chinooks failed to make the playoffs for just the third time in seven seasons. They ended the season with a record of 29-42.
