Grafton, WI – The Lakeshore Chinooks have released their schedule for the 2019 season. The Chinooks will play 36 games at Kapco Park starting in late May and ending in the middle of August. The 2019 season is presented by Port Washington State Bank. The upcoming season will be the Summer of 19 which will include a celebration of the career and achievements of Robin Yount’s career in baseball.

Lakeshore will start the season on the road with a two game series in Battle Creek. The home opener will be Thursday May 30th against the Wisconsin Woodchucks at 6:35pm.

On June 4th, the Chinooks will host their annual Education Day with a special start time of 11:35am. The team will also have two other weekday day games: Tuesday, July 2nd at 1:35pm and Wednesday, July 24th at 11:35am which will both be Kids & Seniors Days.

The team will host a number of Sunday daytime games: June 16th (Fathers Day), July 7th, and August 4th. All games will have a 1:35pm start time.

Lakeshore will play two doubleheaders this season both against the Dock Spiders. The first will take place in Fond du Lac on June 11th at 11:35am and 6:35pm. The second doubleheader will take place at Kapco Park on July 24th at 11:35am and 6:35pm.

Monday through Saturday games will have a start time of 6:35pm (excluding June 4th, July 2nd, July 24th). Sunday games will start at 5:05pm (excluding June 16th, July 7th, August 4th). Gates for all home games will open one hour prior to first pitch.

The first half of the season will conclude on July 2nd with the second half beginning the following day. The 2019 Northwoods League All-Star Game will be held on July 16th and will be hosted by the Waterloo Bucks. Madison will once again be hosting the Major League Dreams Showcase on August 7th. Northwoods League playoffs will run from August 12th – August 16th.

Lakeshore will now belong to the Great Lakes Division (formerly the South Division). The division will be spilt into two subdivisions. In Lakeshore’s subdivision will be Madison, Green Bay, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, and the 2018 NWL Champions, the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. The Chinooks will face three teams from the other subdivision: Kenosha, Battle Creek, and Traverse City, who recently joined the Northwoods League.

Season ticket and group tickets will go on sale to the public in the coming weeks. Current season ticket holders and group leaders will be contacted by the Chinooks staff in November and December regarding renewals. The 2019 promotional schedule will be released mid-April while single game tickets will go on sale around May 1st.
