Grafton, WI – The Lakeshore Chinooks have released their schedule for the 2020 season. The Chinooks will play 36 games at Kapco Park starting in late May and ending in the middle of August. The 2020 season is presented by Port Washington State Bank. Our promotional theme for the upcoming season will be announced in the coming weeks.
Lakeshore will start the season on the road with a four game road trip in Kalamazoo and Traverse City. The home opener will be Saturday, May 30th at 6:35pm against the Kokomo Jackrabbits who the team will be playing for the first time ever.
On June 2nd, the Chinooks will host their annual Education Day with a special start time of 11:35am. The team will also host it’s annual Kids & Seniors Day on July 15th with a 11:35am start time. It will be part of a doubleheader with game 2 of the day at 6:35pm.
For the first time in franchise history, the Chinooks will play on Independence Day with a 1:35pm start time.
The team will host a number of Sunday afternoon games at 1:35pm: May 31st, June 21st (Father’s Day), and July 5th.
Monday through Saturday games will have a start time of 6:35pm (excluding June 2nd, July 4th, July 15th – Game 1). Sunday games will start at 5:05pm (excluding May 31st, June 21st, July 5th). Gates for all home games will open one hour prior to first pitch.
The first half of the season will conclude on Tuesday June 30th with the second half beginning the following day. The 2020 Northwoods League All-Star Game will be held on July 21st and the Major League Dreams Showcase taking place on August 4th. Locations for both events will be announced soon.
Lakeshore will remain in the Great Lakes Division and will play Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin Rapids, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Kokomo, Kalamazoo, Traverse City, and Rockford four times at home and four times on the road. The Chinooks will not face Kenosha or Battle Creek from the Great Lakes Division.

Season tickets are currently available for purchase with group tickets going on sale in the coming weeks. Current season ticket holders and group leaders will be contacted by the Chinooks staff in November and December regarding renewals. The 2020 promotional schedule will be released mid-April while single game tickets will go on sale around May 1st.
