Grafton, WI – For one weekend only, the Lakeshore Chinooks will become the State Fair Cream Puffs on July 31st and August 1st presented by the Wisconsin State Fair and the Wisconsin Bakers Association.

The promotion will be part of the team’s Wisco Summer promotional campaign as we pay tribute to the great state of Wisconsin. Nothing says Wisconsin more than the Wisconsin State Fair and cream puffs.

“We have had a great partnership with the Wisconsin State Fair and Wisconsin Bakers Association for a number of years and we knew we wanted to do a rebrand weekend after the success of our Rockin Robin’s rebrand in 2019. After brainstorming with our staff, we knew the State Fair Cream Puffs would be the perfect brand to do for 2021 and for a Wisco Summer,” mentioned Chinooks GM, Eric Snodgrass.

The Chinooks design team created the brand and logos associated with the State Fair Cream Puff team rebrand. Along with the new logo, the team will be sporting new uniforms and Cream Puff merchandise available in the Straight Up Inc Tackle Box Team Store. The official mascot of the Wisconsin Bakers Association, Cravin’ D. Creampuff, will be our honorary mascot for July 31st and August 1st.

On August 1st, our fan bobblehead giveaway will be of Gill & the State Fair Cream Puffs, a bobble of Gill sporting the Cream Puffs jersey and eating a delicous cream puff. The bobblehead is presented by the Wisconsin State Fair and Wisconsin Bakers Association. 1,000 bobbles will be available.

Don’t miss State Fair Cream Puffs weekend on July 31st and August 1st at Kapco Park. The Chinooks 2021 season is presented Port Washington State Bank and kicks off on June 3rd. Season, group, and single game tickets are currently available for purchase. The Wisconsin State Fair runs from August 5th to August 15th and is presented by US Cellular.
