Mequon, WI – The Lakeshore Chinooks are excited to announce the hiring of David Koier and Justin Georgeson to the team’s front office staff. Koier returns to the organization after being with the team in different roles in 2018 and 2019. Georgeson returns to Lakeshore after interning with the team this past summer.
“Our organization is very excited to have David and Justin back with the organization. They were both some of our best interns the years they interned with the team and I look forward to seeing what they can do in their new front office roles. In the weeks they have been back with the Chinooks, they have really made an impact in our planning for the upcoming season,” added Chinooks GM Eric Snodgrass.
David is the Chinooks’ Media Manager and Account Executive after serving as Assistant Marketing & Media Manager in 2019. The 2022 season will be his third season and year with the organization. David will oversee the team’s media and video production including the live stream of all home games, serve on the broadcast team, produce content for the Chinooks social network, and assist with season and group ticket sales. Most recently, Koier worked for the Wichita Falls Warriors hockey club. David interned with Chinooks media and video production staff in 2018 and was named intern of the year. He graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s and masters’s degree in Sports Management. Born and raised in Menomonee Falls, David currently resides in Wauwatosa.
Justin is the Chinooks’ Assistant Operations Manager and Account Executive. The 2022 season will be his second season and year with the organization. Justin will assist with operations, concessions & hospitality, stadium operations, baseball operations, and assist with season and group tickets. Justin interned with Chinooks marketing and operations staff in 2021 and was named intern of the year. He graduated from University of Wisconsin-Parkside with a degree in Sports Management. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Justin still resides there.
The 2022 season and our 10th anniversary celebration gets underway with the home opener on June 3rd against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters at 6:35pm. The season and our 10th anniversary are presented by Port Washington State Bank (Member FDIC).
