Mequon, WI – The Lakeshore Chinooks are excited to announce the playing field at Kapco Park will now be known as Moonlight Graham Field. The Chinooks and Moonlight Graham, a modern dental benefits company, become teammates with the field naming rights for the upcoming 2022 season.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have a great teammate like Moonlight Graham. Their enthusiasm for our team and our impact in the community is what Chinooks baseball has always been about. We look forward to welcoming our fans back to the ballpark, now known as Moonlight Graham Field,” stated Director of Partnerships, David Christensen.
Moonlight Graham is a modern dental benefits company leveraging proprietary technology to provide more access to more transparent, convenient and affordable dental care. “At Moonlight Graham, our mission is to help more people smile more. Everyone smiles more when enjoying America’s national pastime, a baseball game in the summer,” commented Craig Kasten, CEO and founder of Moonlight Graham.
On June 3rd, the Chinooks kick off the 2022 season with their home opener at Moonlight Graham Field. On Wednesday, June 29th, it’s Moonlight Graham Field Night. Dental care professionals are invited to reserve free game tickets with backyard patio seats, all-you-can-eat ballpark fare, and a commemorative Moonlight Graham Field t-shirt. “We believe dental care professionals are the unsung heroes in the healthcare world. We’re hoping to become great teammates, and we’re inviting them to have some fun this summer,” stated Kasten.
Additionally on Moonlight Graham Field Night, fans are invited to take one swing during pre-game batting practice or have a catch in the outfield in honor of the one game Archibald “Moonlight” Graham played for the New York Giants in 1905. His story was popularized in the 1989 film, Field of Dreams.
With the official field naming rights, Moonlight Graham will have signage around the ballpark including on the scoreboard, press box, dugouts, and main plaza. “The 2022 Lakeshore Chinooks season is full of history with the tenth anniversary of the Lakeshore Chinooks and also newness with new owners, new partners, and new ways to have fun,” stated Christensen.
