FOND DU LAC, Wi.- Narrowly beating the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 6-5 in game one of their June 6 doubleheader, the Chinooks look to get the sweep with first pitch at 6:35 pm CDT.

On the bump, Eli Niemiec is making his fourth appearance and first start of the year. Niemiec in 6.1 innings pitched, has struck out a team-high 11 batters.

After allowing three runs in 2.1 innings on May 26 versus Richmond in his first appearance, Niemiec has allowed just one run in his last four innings pitched.

Sitting the first game of today’s doubleheader, second basemen Jake Altman, catcher Nathan Hanel and first basemen Sam Meidenbauer are all in the starting lineup. Having collected a hit and two walks in game one, Nolan Sandee moves all the way from the ninth spot to fourth.
