Grafton, WI – The Lakeshore Chinooks are warming up winter by announcing a Wisco Summer, a tribute to our state of Wisconsin, as their theme for 2020 season. Wisco Summer seeks to honor industries, foods, beverages, entertainment, and attractions that truly distinguish our state.
Chinooks Assistant General Manager Eric Snodgrass expressed the team’s satisfaction with the concept: “When creating a theme for the upcoming season, we couldn’t think of a better way to pay tribute to our great state and qualities we are known for,” he said. “The Chinooks are proud to represent Wisconsin and we hope Wisco Summer creates excitement for our fans in 2020.”
Wisco Summer will officially get underway at the Chinooks’ home opener on Saturday, May 30 with a Jim Gantner bobblehead giveaway presented by Port Washington State Bank. The Gantner bobblehead will feature the Wisconsin baseball great as a cheesemaker. Other bobbleheads in this summer’s lineup will feature popular Wisconsin natives portraying fun and recognizable Wisconsin jobs. The campaign was announced during a Lakeshore Live broadcast from Port Washington State Bank, presenting sponsor of the 2020 season.
Additional details, events, and promotions will be announced in the coming weeks. Wisco Summer will include a number of new game day promotions including giveaways and theme nights plus new concession stand items and merchandise lines at the Straight Up Tackle Box Team Store.
Chinooks’ season and group tickets are currently on sale with single game tickets available in early May. The full promotional schedule will be released in mid-April.
The Lakeshore Chinooks are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
