Mequon, WI – The Lakeshore Chinooks are excited to announce a new initiative for the organization, the Jr. Chinooks Baseball program. Travel baseball level training without the price tag! In partnership with Milwaukee Baseball Academy, the program will launch this summer with tryouts set for July and practice beginning in January. Games and tournaments will start in May of 2023.

The Jr. Chinooks program will consist of teams 8U-14U. Thanks to our community partners, registration will only be $550. Jr. Chinooks players will work with professional coaches at practices, camps, and classes throughout the year. All indoor training will take place at the newly renovated Milwaukee Baseball Academy in Menomonee Falls. Teams are open to kids from all over southeastern Wisconsin.

Jr. Chinooks players will also receive great benefits such as practice and games at Moonlight Graham Field at Kapco Park, interaction with Chinooks players, authentic Chinooks uniforms, free tickets to games, and much more.

The Jr. Chinooks teams will participate in a local weekday league, four to five local touraments, and one destination tournament.

Our goal with the Jr. Chinooks is to have our teams become part of the Chinooks family and enjoy the most unique playing experience in the area. The team wanted to develop a program that falls between Little League/community based teams and high-end travel ball. The Jr. Chinooks will fill that gap in the market by offering travel ball level training without the price tag.
