MADISON, Wi.- The Lakeshore Chinooks are back in the NWL playoffs for the first time since 2017 and open their playoff run against Great Lakes West first-half champions Madison Mallards at 4:05 pm CDT at the Duck Pond. The Chinooks are 1-2 all-time versus Madison in the playoffs.

Dylan Weekly gets the start on the mound for the Chinooks, making his third of the year. In 9.2 innings of work, Weekly has allowed three earned runs while striking out 14 batters. Lakeshore faces 2024 Chinook Noah Musolf on the mound, who has a 3.45 ERA and 1.18 WHIP in 31.1 innings pitched.

In eight games played in the month of August, the Chinooks’ offense is averaging 5.3 runs per game.
