The Lakeshore Chinooks will have three representatives at the 2014 Northwoods League All-Star Game. Pitchers Joe Pavlovich and Andrew Elliott, outfielder Brett Siddall and infielder Blake Butler were chosen for the South Division team.
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh product Joe Pavlovich has been a pivotal part of the Lakeshore pitching staff. Through eight appearances (four starts), the right-hander boasts a 4-1 record with a 2.18 ERA. In 37 innings pitched, he has struck out 29 and issued nine walks. He also has a save.
On June 5, Pavlovich was named the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night. Despite taking the loss, he gave up one earned run off three hits in five innings against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. He also had nine strikeouts.
Chinooks reliever Andrew Elliott, of Wright State University, has also put up impressive pitching numbers. In 13 appearances, he is 2-0 with a 1.01 ERA. The righty has recorded eight saves on the year. He has struck out 25 and only walked three in 17.1 innings pitched.
Brett Siddall, an outfielder from Canisius College (NY), was also selected. He is batting .327 (32-98) on the season. He has five home runs and six doubles. The left-handed hitter has driven in 21 runs as well.
Siddall was the Northwoods League Player of the Night on July 3. He went 3-3 in the game with a double, home run and drove in four runs. He also scored three runs.
Lakeshore Field Manager Eddy Morgan will manage the South Division squad. Morgan, the second-year coach for the Chinooks, also serves as the head coach for the Concordia University Wisconsin baseball team.
He will be joined by Lakeshore pitching coach Mark Moriarty and assistant coaches Cameron Castro and Cody Greibling.
The Northwoods League All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday, July 22 at Kapco Park in Mequon, Wisc.

Chinooks utility infielder Blake Butler has been added to the South roster for the Northwoods League All-Star Game. He has been added as an injury replacement for Jake Jefferies of the Wisconsin Woodchucks.
Currently, he is hitting .333 (25-75) through 19 games. He has four home runs and 20 RBI. The right-handed hitting Butler is from the College of Charleston.
