Manager Marc Rardin is excited about the addition of these players, saying ?The first things I looked for in finding outfielders to play the big outfield at Warner Park (360 feet down the lines) was speed and baseball savvy. Each one of these guys brings that to the table.? Rardin also likes them on the offensive side, adding ?With the great speed these guys bring we are really going to wreak some havoc on the bases this summer, as well as play some great outfield defense?

Also the teams first player, Dusty Brown, enjoyed a great weekend. He hit three homeruns and two singles during the first game of a double header in Arizona on Saturday. Brown was drafted by the Boston Red Sox last year, but decided to stay in school and will be a big part of the lineup this summer for the Mallards.

The Mallards play a 64 game schedule this summer with the first home game being June 2 at 7:05 vs. the Wausau Woodchucks. Season tickets are available now for only $150 now at the Mallards office at Warner Park.
