Left-handed pitchers Brady Endl & Carlos Arguello will both return to Madison for the 2002 Mallards Season. The Mallards will also host tryouts Sat. May 11th to fill the big webbed feet of Maynard G. Mallard the team mascot.

Endl, a Sophomore at UW Whitewater who grew up in Jefferson, WI, was one of the Mallards most consistent pitchers & worked his way into the starting rotation by the end of last season. Endl has become an offensive force this spring at Whitewater, while continuing to be a leader on the mound. Endl will primarily be a pitcher this summer in Madison and will bring much needed experience to the 2002 Mallards.
Arguello, a Junior at Arizona State, was a very effective swing man for the Mallards last season starting a handful of games & filling a vital role out of the bullpen as a left-handed middle reliever.

The Mallards 2002 season opens up with a pre-season game June 5th at 6:05 vs. the Wisconsin Woodchucks. The Mallards regular season home opener is Sat. June 8th at 7:05 with a huge fireworks show after the game. Season tickets are available at the Mallards office right now, and single game tickets go on sale Sat. May 11 at 10:00 at Warner Park.
