Hall of Famer Fergie Jenkins will be in attendance at the Mallards first ever exhibition game on Wed. June 5th at 6:05. The Mallards play the Wisconsin Woodchucks & the Mallards Public Address Announcer will be on the field interviewing the 2002 Mallards throughout the game giving fans a great opportunity to get to know the team.
The charismatic Jenkins pitched most of his career with the Chicago Cubs, but also spent time with Philadelphia, Texas, & Boston during his 19 year career. Jenkins was also a member of the Harlem Globetrotters for three years (67-69), & has been spending a lot of time working with charity groups throughout the country (check www.fergiejenkinscharities.com for more info.) A 1991 inductee into Cooperstown, Jenkins won the Cy Young in 1971, and won over 20 games in six consecutive seasons (67-72.)

The Mallards regular season home opener is Sat. June 8th at 7:05 with a huge fireworks show after the game. Season tickets are available at the Mallards office right now, and single game tickets go on sale Sat. May 18 at 10:00 at Warner Park.
