The Madison Mallards and the Rochester Honkers game on Monday night was suspended due to inclement weather at the top of the third inning with the game tied at 2-2.
The game was delayed about 15 minutes at the start of the game because of the weather and after two innings, the game was delayed again because lightning was showing in the near vicinity. About an hour later, with rains pouring down on the tarped field, the game was officially suspended.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader to conclude the season on Tuesday night. The first game will start at 5:05pm and be continued where the game was left off. Rochester designated hitter Andre Ethier was on first base following a base hit off Mallard starter Michael Koehler with nobody out.
The first game Tuesday will be made up at that point and will be seven innings in duration, as well as the second game. The second game will start 30 minutes after the first game has concluded.
Any tickets used for Monday’s suspended game will be able to be redeemed for both games tomorrow. Tickets are also still available for Tuesday’s doubleheader for those who were not at Monday night’s suspended game.

–Dominic Ramos to give fans everything on fan appreciation night–Madison Mallard shortstop Dominic Ramos was originally planning on playing nine positions in nine innings for fan appreciation night on Tuesday. However, with the suspension of Monday night’s game, Ramos will play nine positions in seven innings for game two on Tuesday night.
Also, fan appreciation night will feature giveaways all night long, home plate autographed by all of the Madison Mallards will be given to one lucky fan and a post game fireworks show.
