Madison Magazine has just selected the Mallards & Warner Park as the #1 thing to do in Madison! Click here to check out the story. The Mallards 2004 Home Opener is June 9th at 7:05 vs. The Mankato MoonDogs. Tickets are currently available right now at tickets.mallardsbaseball.com.

From State Street to Sunprint, from the eclectic to the everyday, there’s a little something for everyone to do, all year long.

1 Find yourself up north
Nothing says summer like baseball and fireworks, and Warner Park on Madison’s North Side offers both. From June through August you can hear the crack of bats and see the baseballs flying into the stands at the Duck Pond, home of the Madison Mallards. Cheap tickets and diehard fans make Warner Park the place to be on warm summer evenings. This picturesque, 230-acre park is also home to the Rhythm and Booms fireworks extravaganza. Synchronized to rousing music (some years the choreography is live, courtesy of Madison Symphony Orchestra), the 15,000 shells fired during the 35-minute show are a sight to behold. This year’s event is Saturday, July 3 (rain date: July 5).
