The Madison Mallards are pleased to announce that the Duck Pond will host the 2004 NBC State Qualifying Amateur Baseball Tournament. 16 of the best Home Talent teams from the state will be competing for the chance to play in the 70th Annual National Baseball Congress World Series, held July 31st-Aug. 15th in Wichita, KS. The opening rounds of the qualifying tournament held at Warner Park begins July 9th and July 10th and is composed of one bracket with 16 teams in a single-elimination format. The quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship game will be held the following week, July 16th and July 17th. Game times will be released shortly.
