Madison continues to share the South Division lead with the Waterloo Bucks, after the Mallards (7-2) defeated the Duluth Huskies on the road, 3-0. The Mallards have won two in a row, and eight out of their last ten. Billy Phillips (3-2) pitched a complete game, allowing only three hits, and striking out 11 to lead the way in the Mallards first game since the All-Star break.

Only ten hits were recorded in the contest, but the Mallards had seven of them. Madison got on the scoreboard early, putting up one run in the first and second innings. The Mallards added another run in the sixth inning to make it 3-0. Mike Dury continues to impress, going 2-for-4 with an RBI. Kyle Murphy and Mike Rohde also contributed an RBI apiece for the Mallards.

Madison and Duluth go head-to-head again at 7:05 p.m. tonight, as the Mallards continue their six-game road trip. The Mallards next home game is July 22, against the Waterloo Bucks starting at 7:05 p.m. The Mallards then host the Wausau Woodchucks on July 24th and 25th.
