The world famous ZOOperstars! are scheduled to make their first ever appearance at the Duck Pond Saturday, July 2. The Zooperstars! appearance is part of the Rhythm & Booms 2005/Movies in the Outfield Night presented by Summit Credit Union, as the Mallards take on the Waterloo Bucks at 5:05 p.m.

?The fastest growing entertainment act? in the country consists of an exceptional combination of original costumes and unique character names that have been a delight to audiences throughout the world. Harry Canary, Clammy Sosa, Shark McGwire, Ichiroach Suzuki and Tiger Woodschuck will all be on hand Saturday.

The ZOOperstars! will patrol the grounds of the Duck Pond throughout the evening creating havoc on the field and on the dugouts, dancing and interacting with fans.

Fans will also have the opportunity to stay in their seats or move to the outfield grass to watch the Rhythm & Booms fireworks show which will commence after the conclusion of the Mallards game. The Mallards will also be showing the movie ?The Sandlot? in the outfield following the fireworks show.

The Mallards fell a half game behind the first place Rochester Honkers in the Northwoods League South Division after Rochester?s 5-1 victory over Thunder Bay Monday night. Madison plays a double-header tonight against the Waterloo Bucks beginning at 6:05 p.m.
