Although the North came through with a 5-2 victory Wednesday night in Alexandria over the South squad, the Mallards made their presence felt.

Ryan Rowgowski hit a solo home run in the top of the first to put the South division all-stars on stop 1-0 in front of a record crowd of 1,857 in Alexandria.

Mike Rohde also recorded a hit for the South division first-half champs, and Jake Hansen and Adam Mills each had scoreless performances, as Hansen started the game, pitching one scoreless inning, and Mills pitched two-thirds innings of scoreless baseball.
