The La Crosse Loggers took advantage of six Mallard errors to defeat Madison 11-5 Thursday night in La Crosse.

Burke Baldwin (1-1) gave up four earned runs in four innings as the Mallards dropped to 6-5 in the second half. Will Vogl had three hits for the Mallards, who recorded a team high, and franchise record six errors. Randy Molina provided the rest of the Mallards offense as he scored a game-high two runs and recorded two hits.

Dan Melvin knocked in two Mallard runs as the team returns home from a 17-day road trip to take on the Loggers Friday night at the Duck Pond at 7:05 p.m.
