Your Madison Mallards will return to the Duck Pond for their final home game of the 2005 season Friday, August 19th at 7:05 vs. the Thunder Bay Border Cats for the first game of the 2005 NWL Championship Series! The Border Cats defeated the St. Cloud River Bats on Thursday night to win the NWL North Divison title. Games two & three of the series will be in Thunder Bay on Saturday & Sunday (if necessary). The Mallards will be looking to win their second consecutive NWL Championship.

Great seats are available for the game throughout the entire stadium including seats on the Great Dane Duck Blind, Reserved seats, & Bleacher Reserved Seats. Buy your tickets early online at Mallardsbaseball.com, at the Mallards ticket office at Warner Park, or by calling 608-246-4277. We encourage all of our fans to buy your tickets ahead of time as we anticipate long lines at the Ticket office from 5 pm until game time.

We look forward to seeing you one last Friday Night at the “Duck Pond” & we promise a one night stand our fans won’t soon forget!

The Mallards will also be hosting fan bus to the game on Saturday to Thunder Bay. The bus will leave at 7am from the Duck Pond & will cost 45 dollars per person. Be prepared to spend the night in the case of a split of the first games. Hotel accommadations, if necessary, will be the responsibility of the individual fans. If there is no game on Sunday, the bus will return to Madison after the completion of the game.
