Madison Mallards outfielder Ryan Rogowski was recently named to the Baseball America College Summer All-America Second Team. Rogowski, a junior outfielder from Illinois, was one of five Northwoods League players to be honored by Baseball America. He was fourth in the league with a .344 batting average and led the league in hits (86), stolen bases (44) and runs scored (52) on his way to becoming the 2005 Northwoods League Most Valuable Player. He joined fellow Mallards Adam Mills and J.J. Hollenbeck on the NWL Post-season All-Star team. Following the season, Rogowski signed a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
