The Madison Mallards will host the first annual World Series Party at Rookies Food and Spirits in Mazomanie on October 22 for the opening game of the 2005 World Series.
The event will feature the ?Duck Blind? in October with an all you can eat and drink menu from 6 to 10 p.m. for only $25. There will be live music from Minneapolis cover band the Blazing Saddles starting at 6 p.m. The World Series game will be shown live on Rookies 27 televisions and the Blazin? Saddles will be playing in a heated beer garden on Rookies famous wiffle ball field. The menu will feature all you can eat hot dogs, brats, burgers and chips and tap beers and soda from 6 to 10 p.m. Throughout the night Mallards prizes will be given away including, Mallards merchandise, tickets for the 2006 season and a party on the Great Dane Duck Blind.
