The Northwoods League has announced that the Madison Mallards will host the 2008 NWL All-Star Game at Warner Park. This will mark the third time the Mallards have hosted the All-Star Game in Madison. The NWL All-Star Game, which is traditionally played in July the day after the Major League All-Star Game, was played in Madison in 2002 and 2003. The LaCrosse Loggers will host the 2006 event and the Mankato MoonDogs will host the league in 2007.
