Mill?s teammate Kris Rochelle had a solid weekend for the 49ers as well. In three games Rochelle went 4 for 12 with five runs scored, five RBI and three walks. Their contributions helped UNC-Charlotte to a three games sweep of Canisius.

Infielder Dan Melvin started all three games for Maryland over the weekend. He went one for three in the first game versus Gardner-Webb. In the second game Melvin went one for four and scored a run against Winthrop. The Terps played the Evansville Aces in the final game and he went two for four and scored two runs.
