It?s time again for the fourth installment of the weekly Mallards update. Once again, the Mallards had all of their returning players in action for their respective teams. Be sure to check out the rosters link on our home page to follow the players and their teams. Here are some of the stand out performances from this past weekend.

Right-handed pitcher Adam Mills (3-0) made his fourth start for UNC-Charlotte on Friday night. He threw a complete game, allowing only two runs while striking out seven. Mills ended up getting the win and helped lead the 49ers to a sweep of Cleveland State.

Fellow returning right-handed pitcher Mike Creevy (1-2) also threw a complete game on Friday night for Xavier. He picked up his first win of the season, allowing three runs while recording nine strike outs. The Musketeers ended up winning the game 7 ? 3 over Gardner-Webb.

Outfielder Danny Dressman was in action for Notre Dame over the weekend. He played in all three games of the DQ Classic at the Metrodome in Minneapolis. Dressman went a combined three for ten with a run scored. The Fighting Irish will be in action again this weekend at the UT-San Antonio Tournament.

The Madison Mallards open the 2006 season against the Thunder Bay Border Cats on Thursday, June 1, 2006. Group and season tickets are on sale now. Single game tickets go on sale Saturday, April 29.
