Last summer on August 14; 2,052 Mallards fans participated in a World Record for the most ceremonial first pitches at a baseball game. However, that record was short lived as on August 30 in Brevard County Florida 4,218 (un-documented I might mention) fans of the Brevard County Manatees participated in their version of the World’s Largest First Pitch. Although, we question the legitimacy of that record we feel it is the responsibility of Mallards fans to take the high road & legitimately beat the record that the Manatees have stolen from us! The first 5,000 fans will receive a Mallards baseball & get to go on the field to throw out a ceremonial first pitch! All fans will also receive a Mallards team poster.
Every Sunday, will be a ?Kids Eat Free Sunday? & all kids will receive a free hot dog, soda, & popcorn. Fans are able to vote at Mallardsbaseball.com to decide what giveaway the Mallards will have on opening day June 1.
