The Madison Mallards will look to stop a three game skid tonight, June 15 when they take on the Wisconsin Woodchucks at 6:35 p.m. in Wausau. The Mallards dropped a heartbreaker to the Chucks Wednesday night by a score of 5-4 and currently stand two games out of first in the South Division.

Trying to put the stop on the Woodchucks tonight will be left-hander Marc Lewis (pictured below). In two starts this summer, Lewis is 1-0 with a spotless 0.00 ERA. He has struck out five in 12 innings while limiting opponents to just a .205 average.

The Mallards will attempt to reverse their fortunes from Wednesday on a night that saw them pick up seven hits but in a losing effort. Both Jordan Comadena and Ryan Bond had multi-hit games with Ryan?s younger brother, Wayne Bond, going deep for his first home run of the season.

The Mallards return to the Duck Pond on Friday, June 16 to face the Duluth Huskies on the Neckerman Agency Madison Blues Turn-Back-the-Clock-Night. The Mallards will be sporting replica 1940s-style Madison Blues uniforms and the first 1,000 fans will receive a free replica Blues hat. Live Blues music, presented by Madison Magazine, will take place on the Great Dane Duck Blind pre- and post-game with Westside Andy. Stick around after the game for The Human Cannonball David ?The Bullet? Smith.

Great seats are still available. Visit www.mallardsbaseball.com, call 608.246.4277 or stop by the Duck Pond for more information.
