The Duck Pond parking lot at Warner Park will be in service again this year for the 2006 Rhythm and Booms fireworks show. Parking will be available until the lot is full. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as in years past the lot has been full by early afternoon. Motor homes, campers, large trucks and other RV?s will not be allowed in the lot.

Parking will also be available for a fee at the Northside Town Center, across the street from Warner Park. Spots will available on a first come first served basis and reservations will not be accepted. Those attending the fireworks can also park in the neighborhoods surrounding Warner Park but these spots will be at a premium. Parking will also be available at Dane County Regional Airport for a charge of $5. The charge will be payable by CREDIT CARD ONLY at the time of exit.

All cars parked in the Warner Park, Northside Town Center and other nearby lots will not be permitted to leave those lots until at least 12 midnight. This will be done in an attempt to lessen the crowds leaving the park and clear nearby roadways of parked cars to facilitate the large amount of vehicles leaving the area.

Overnight parking is not allowed in any city park. Vehicles left overnight will be ticketed and towed.

The Mallards will also be in action Saturday night versus the LaCrosse Loggers. It will be PPIC Kick Ball Night. The first 1,000 fans 14 and under will receive a kick ball courtesy of PPIC. All kids are invited on the field after the game to participate in a kick ball game. Movies will also be shown in the outfield following the fireworks show presented by Life Style Staffing.

Great seats are still available. Order yours today by visiting www.mallardsbaseball.com, calling 246.4277 or stop by the Duck Pond.
