The Mallards have begun to release their 2007 tentative promotional schedule two promotions at a time every weekday.
The promotion for the last game of the year will be announced first while working towards Opening Day on May 31, 2007.
The promotions for Friday, June 15 include:
Quench Gum Hockey Night featuring Zooperstars Mario Lemule and Whale Gretzky!(see picture) Watch these unpredictable mascots perform outrageous skits throughout the game! The Mallards will also wear hockey uniforms while taking on the Thunder Bay Border Cats. All fans named Sergei, Pavel, or Jaromir will get in free!
On Thursday, June 14 its Duck Bill Hat Night! The first 1,000 fans 14 & under will receive a duck bill hat courtesy of Stop-N-Go. This game will be one of three Northwoods League games broadcasted nationally on ESPNU throughout the summer. This is an event you will not want to miss!
Thursdays throughout the summer will feature Great Dane Beer Tastings presented by WIBA-FM. Fans can sample Great Dane brews for free pre-game.
Also, the Working Mans Special presented by ESPN radio 1070 will once again include a ticket, 2 beers, and 2 hot dogs for 10.70. Don’t worry; this special offer is open to the unemployed as well.
Each Thursday the first 650 fans will also receive a Mallards magnet as part of a five-part series presented by the Wisconsin Historical Museum.
Also on Thursdays, PBR plastic beer steins will be given to the first 100 college students and 2-for-1 tickets will be offered with a college ID.
Wednesday, June 20 is Fox 47 The Simpson’s Night! The game will feature great giveaways & Simpson’s trivia all night long! The Outtatoons will also perform Simpson’s cover songs before and after the game.
Fans will be able to vote at Mallardsbaseball.com to decide which giveaway the Mallards will have on Opening Day.
The choices for the Opening Day giveaway are: sweat bands, bumper stickers, commemorative baseballs, and a mystery item.

On Thursday, April 26, the Madison Mallards will be giving fans and the media a preview to the 2007 season with the Mallards First Pitch. The event will be held at the Great Dane Brew Pub downtown location starting at 1:00 p.m. Mallards Head Coach C.J. Thieleke and P.A. Announcer Aaron Sims will speak about the 2007 roster accompanied by a slideshow. General Manager Vern Stenman will follow with a presentation about improvements to the ballpark along with insight about the completed promotional schedule. A fan question and answer session will follow. Admission is free to the public and appetizers, ballpark food, soda, and beer will be provided. Merchandise will also be available for purchase.
