The Mallards have begun to release their 2007 tentative promotional schedule two promotions at a time every weekday.
Every promotion has been released and can now be seen on the Promos tab on Mallardsbaseball.com!
The promotions for Friday, June 1 include:
Zimbrick VW Beetlemania Night! The first 1,000 fans on the Duck Blind will receive a Beetlemania T-shirt courtesy of Zimbrick VW on Stoughton Rd!
The first 750 fans 14 & under will receive a Mallards Mini Bat courtesy of Endres Manufacturing Company.
It doesn’t stop there! All fans will also receive a Magnet Schedule courtesy of Chet’s Car Care!
On Opening Day, Thursday, May 31, its Signature Graphics Opening Night! And the winner of the Opening Day Giveaway Poll is…arm bands! Thanks to 37 percent of over 700 votes cast on mallardsbaseball.com, the first 1,000 fans will receive a Mallards Arm Band courtesy of Signature Graphics!
All fans will also receive a Quench Gum Poster Schedule as they enter the “Duck Pond!”
On Thursday, April 26, the Madison Mallards will be giving fans and the media a preview to the 2007 season with the Mallards First Pitch. The event will be held at the Great Dane Brew Pub downtown location starting at 1:00 p.m. Mallards Head Coach C.J. Thieleke and P.A. Announcer Aaron Sims will speak about the 2007 roster accompanied by a slideshow. General Manager Vern Stenman will follow with a presentation about improvements to the ballpark along with insight about the completed promotional schedule. A fan question and answer session will follow. Admission is free to the public and appetizers, ballpark food, soda, and beer will be provided. Merchandise will also be available for purchase.
Also, don’t forget to join us this Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for an opportunity to participate in free fun-filled activities! In connection with single-game tickets going on sale, we’re allowing kids to have unlimited use of the “Big Maynard” Bouncehouse and Speed Pitch! Even Maynard G. Mallard will be there! Work up an appetite because we’ll also be serving free hot dogs and soda.
