Future Mallard and Oshkosh, WI native Chris Roberts was named the Big Ten Player of the Week after hitting .563 (9 for 16) in a four-game series versus Ohio State last weekend. The Michigan State Freshman outfielder recorded multiple hits in all four contests that included a three-hit, five-RBI performance in the series finale on Sunday. A 27th round draft choice out of high school, Roberts leads the Spartans with a .349 batting average and .450 slugging percentage.
