The Mallards are excited to announce that former Milwaukee Brave shortstop Johnny Logan will be attending the team’s Opening Day game on May 31, 2007! Logan played for the Braves from 1953 to 1961 and was a member of the 1957 World Series Champion team that beat the New York Yankees in seven games. During his 14 year playing career he had a .268 batting average and hit 93 home runs during that span. He will be available for pictures and autographs during the game!

Fans, be sure to tune your radio dial to Madison’s Sports Radio 100.5 FM every Saturday at noon for “This Week in Mallards Baseball.” The segment will highlight all the latest Mallards news with scores, game recaps and interviews with players and coaches. Ben Larson, the team’s play-by-play announcer, will host the show.

The Mallards season starts in just five days on Thursday, May 31 against the Eau Claire Express at the Duck Pond! The first 1,000 fans will receive an official Mallards Arm Band and all fans will receive a Quench Gum Poster Schedule! All tickets are on sale now.
