Tonight’s game features a couple of solid right-handers in La Cross’ Dan Luczak and Madison’s Trevor Feeney. Feeney (pictured) is coming off a huge performance against the Eau Claire Express back on June 1st, going seven innings pitched, allowing no earn runs on two hits with six strikeouts. Feeney hopes to continue the same success against a struggling a La Crosse offense that ranks last in team hitting, .194.

On the other side of things La Crosse remains the NWL leader in team ERA at 1.95, the only team to have an ERA below 2.00. La Crosse closer Don Erdall has thrown six straight scoreless innings and has yet to allow an earned run. James Viscomi is one offensive stand-out for the Loggers as he ranks sixth in the Northwoods League with a .467 average.

Madison concludes the two-game set with the Loggers tonight at 7:05 pm before heading back to the Duck Pond on Friday for a three-day series. All the Mallards action can be heard on Madison’s Sports Radio 100.5 FM or viewed online by visiting mallardsbaseball.com.
