For the second night in a row, the Mallards won in La Crosse, 5-3 after leading 5-1 going into the bottom of the ninth. For the second straight night, the Loggers hit a two run homer to bring it to within 2, then were retired in order to finish the game. And for the second straight night, the starting pitcher for the Mallards didn’t allow a run. This time it was Trevor Feeney pitching 6 scoreless. Bubba Odonnel got the save by retiring the final three Loggers. The Mallards bump their record to 4-3 and return home Friday night to take on Mankato at 7:05.
