The Mallards are excited to announce that Thursday’s June 14th game at 7:05 p.m. versus the expansion Green Bay Bullfrogs will be televised nationally on ESPNU! This marks the first time the Northwoods League will be broadcast nationally and we’re excited about the opportunity to represent not only the league but the city of Madison on such a grand level. This is a great chance to showcase the talented players and supportive fans that make this league so special.

The NWL and ESPNU reached a two-year agreement in September of 2006 to televise games beginning this year. After Thursday’s contest, two other games will be broadcast this season:

NWL All-Star Game in Mankato, MN–July 11, 7:05 p.m.–ESPN 360
Rochester Honkers versus Battle Creek Bombers—Aug. 2, 7:05 p.m.—ESPNU

We hope to see you this Thursday as we show the country exactly what the Northwoods League and Mallards baseball is all about!

Fans, be sure to join us Wednesday, June 13, as the Mallards take on the Green Bay Bullfrogs. It’s Dancin’ Maynard G. Mallard bobblehead night! Maynard is dancin’ like it’s 1999 and wants to see you at the Duck Pond! Are you over 21 years old? Then get ready to receive a Red Hook and Genna’s Cocktail Lounge pint glass.

Great seats are still available for all four games during this week’s homestand and can be purchased by visiting mallardsbaseball.com or calling 246.4277.
