This was a game the Mallards should soon forget. Bubba O’Donnell blew his first save of the year and the team committed a season-high six errors in a 3-2 13-inning loss to the Waterloo Bucks at Riverfront Stadium Sunday afternoon. Mallards starting pitcher Justin Bristow provided seven strong innings, only allowing one unearned run, and first baseman Neil Medchill and center fielder Russell Harben drove in the team’s lone runs. The same two teams will square off Monday at 7:05 p.m. All action can be heard on Madison’s Sports Radio 100.5 FM.

Welcome the Mallards back home this Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. We have a promotion for everyone! The first 1,000 kids 14 and under will receive a Spectrum Brands Ryan Spilborgh’s figurine, the first former Mallard to play in the big leagues! Also, the first 1,000 families will receive a Bucky Book with so many coupons it should be outlawed! And if that wasn’t enough, it’s Quench Gum Guaranteed Win Night. If the Mallards lose (not a chance), fans will receive free tickets to a future game!

Great seats are available for all games and can be purchased and printed online at mallardsbaseball.com or by calling 246.4277. We’ll see you at the Duck Pond!
