Fans: the lineup of events and ticket packages for the 2008 season is coming together! The Mallards will play 34 home games, as is customary each year, featuring eight Friday games and seven Saturday games. Also for the first time since 2003, Madison will play host to the Northwoods League All-Star Game. The two-day event will begin on Sunday, July 13 with an interactive “Fan Fest,” and culminate with the game July 14. But wait, the fun doesn’t end here. The celebrity-filled Alumni Game returns for a third-consecutive season, only this time, the event will take place at the conclusion of the Mallards season on Saturday, August 23, further opening the opportunity for baseball legends of year’s past to attend the always-memorable game. Major League Baseball Hall of Famers Harmon Killebrew and Rollie Fingers headlined the event each of the past two seasons, with special appearances by Jim Gantner, Vida Blue, Jay Johnstone, Bill Lee, and more! Who will headline this year’s event? Stay tuned to Mallardsbaseball.com all summer long to find out and learn more details about each event as they become available.

Season ticket packages are $ 225 and include a ticket to the 37 events mentioned above and a complimentary pass to the Great Dane Duck Blind! That’s over $ 50 of added value!

Also new for 2008 is the opportunity to purchase individual tables for single games in the Great Dane Duck Blind. This is a great way to ensure exclusive reserved seating on the popular all-you-can-eat-and-drink party deck without compromising affordability. Tables are $ 250 Sunday through Wednesday and $ 300 Thursday through Saturday. Gone are the days of scrambling to find open seating!

The Mallards open the 2008 season at the “Duck Pond” on Thursday, May 29 against the La Crosse Loggers. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.

Come help jumpstart the team’s eighth season of zany promotions, great food selection, and electrifying on-field action!
