Today’s announced promotions include Leave it to Beaver Night with an appearance by the “Beave” Jerry Mathers on Friday, July 11 & Rayovac/Remington Mini Millie Bobblehead Night on Wednesday, July 16. Full details of these promotions are listed below. Group tickets are on sale & single-game tickets will be available for purchase on Saturday, April 26 at 9:00 a.m. The Mallards open their eighth season on Thursday, May 29 at 7:05 p.m. against the La Crosse Loggers. Friday, July 11 – Leave it to Beaver Night w/ appearance by the “Beave” Jerry Mathers!

Mathers starred on Leave it to Beaver from 1957 to 1963, playing Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver, the youngest son to June & Ward and brother to Wally. He was the first child actor to sign a deal to receive compensation for merchandise sales from a television show. The sitcom still generates merchandise revenues today, 45 years after the final episode aired! The original show has been shown in over 80 countries and 40 different languages. He recently had a role in the box-office smash hit (OK, not really) movie Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector. Mathers will be available for autographs & pictures throughout the game!

The Budweiser Free Bus Trip Series to the “Duck Pond” has returned! Every Friday this season, both the Sports Pub & Nitty Gritty (downtown location) will offer free bus rides to the ballpark 30 min. prior to game-time, & will return back as soon as the last out is recorded! We have your transportation needs covered this summer!

Wednesday, July 16 – Rayovac/Remington Mini Millie Bobblehead Night (first 2,500 fans)

In 1920 women were allowed to vote. Then, in 1983, Sally Ride became the first woman to venture into space. And soon, Wednesday, July 16, 2008, will forever be remembered as the day Millie (Maynard G. Mallard’s wife) received her own bobblehead for the first time! Show your support on this very important date in American history by arriving to the “Duck Pond” early to receive your very own Rayovac/Remington Mini Millie Bobblehead (first 2,500 fans)! Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

It’s also Family Four Pack Wednesday! Throughout the season on Wednesday’s, fans can purchase 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, and 4 sodas for only $ 28!

Looking for part-time work this summer? The Mallards Interview Day is this Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We’ll be conducting interviews for the following positions: box office staff, suite servers, ushers, parking lot attendants, and various concessions & fan zone staff.
