Madison, WI – April 30, 2008. Fresh off an NFC North Division title, former & current members of the Green Bay Packers will once again take on local firefighters in a charity softball game on Saturday, May 17th at the “Duck Pond!” The game will begin at 2 p.m. with gates opening at 1 p.m.

Tickets for the Great Dane Duck Blind & suites are unavailable for this event. Proceeds go to the Wisconsin State Fire Fighters Association.

Representing the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin will be a team of Madison firefighters looking to beat the Packers “Green Machine” squad for a second consecutive year.

Last year’s Packers participants included Ruvell Martin (WR), Vernand Morency (RB), Atari Bigby (S), & Michael Montgomery (DE).
