MADISON, Wis. – May 24, 2008 – For the second year in a row, the Mallards are teaming up with Sonic Foundry & TDS to bring the teams’ baseball games to a computer near you–only this time around, both home & away games will be webcast live! The games will be carried live on the Web using Mediasite by Sonic Foundry. Each game will be delivered wirelessly using TDS’ WiMAX service.

The first live webcast will take place on Thursday, May 29, when the Mallards open the season against the La Crosse Loggers. There is no cost for fans to enjoy all the live action from the convenience of their computer.

“We’re excited to once again offer fans a way to watch the game when they can’t make it out to the ballpark,” says Vern Stenman, general manager of the Madison Mallards. “It’s great to have the support of TDS and Sonic Foundry. Their generosity and technical prowess make it possible for our fans to watch all the Mallards baseball games this season.”

TDS is providing the Internet connectivity via WiMAX – a revolutionary, wireless high-speed Internet and phone service. TDS is also hosting the online content, making it easy for fans to connect to live games via Sonic Foundry’s patented Mediasite webcasting and content management system.

Fans can visit www.livemallardsbaseball.com to watch all home and away games live. Game highlights will also be available for on-demand viewing throughout the season.

Great seats are still available for every game & can be purchased by visiting Mallardsbaseball.com or by calling 246.4277.

Thanks for your support of Mallards baseball!
