Madison, WI – June 2, 2008. The Mallards and Widen have teamed up to create the “Fan Photo of the Week” promotion for the 2008 season. In an attempt to capture the “fan experience” from the stands, fans are encouraged to take fun photos during the game, and email them from either your mobile phone or computer when you arrive home to

The images will automatically upload themselves to the Media Locker Room system, where the Mallards staff can store, search, and reuse great fan photos. On a weekly basis, winners will be selected to receive great Mallards prizes!

For the icing on the cake, at the end of the season, representatives from Widen will select the “Fan Photo of the Season.” The winner will receive a Trek 4300 disc mountain bike & helmet courtesy of Trek Bicycle Corporation.

“We are very excited about our relationship with Widen, and anticipate a much smoother work-flow regarding digital assets with the use of the Media Locker Room system,” said Mallards G.M. Vern Stenman.

The Mallards return home tonight for a two-game series versus the undefeated Mankato Moon Dogs at 7:05 p.m. This evening’s promotions include Pepsi Baseball Glove Night (first 1,000 kids), Chet’s Car Care Magnet Schedules (first 1,000 all), and Bucky Book Night (first 1,000 families).
