Madison, WI – June 24, 2008. This coming Friday, June 27 will be a special night at the “Duck Pond,” as it will be Concordia University “Happy Days” Night. Hop back to the 1950s at the ballpark, featuring a special appearance by “Potsie” (Anson Williams)! Come out early for a chance to meet the legendary character and get a free autograph and picture.

Fans who dress like Richie, Potsie, Ralph, Joanie, “the Fonz” or anyone in the “Happy Days” crew will receive $5 off a ticket to the Duck Blind or $1 off a bleacher seat. Break out your poodle skirts, leather jackets and letterman’s sweaters and buy your sweetheart a malt at Maynard’s Slide In! Also, practice your best “Fonzie” impressions and register at 6:00 p.m. on Friday for a chance to show it off on the field before the game.

Don’t want to worry about transportation on game night? The Mallards are offering expanded free shuttle bus service to and from the “Duck Pond” for Friday’s game. Buses will be leaving the Nitty Gritty Bar starting at 5:15 p.m. and running all game.

The first 750 adults 21 & over will receive a free Budweiser Pint Glass featuring Mallards Manager C.J. Thieleke! Fans will also have the opportunity to register for a chance to win a tuition waiver from Concordia University.
