Madison, WI – July 2, 2008. The battle of the “Ucks” ended Wednesday in the favor of the Madison Mallards as the Waterloo Bucks defeated the Wisconsin Woodchucks 2-1 in game two of a doubleheader. The loss drops the Mallards magic number to 2 heading into Thursdays double-dip with Battle Creek beginning at 5:05 p.m. The Mallards can clinch the South Division First Half Championship with a sweep tomorrow or a win coupled with a Woodchucks loss.
