Madison, WI – August 4, 2008. Cheryl Mitby and daughter Britta drove 200 miles from their cottage in Minocqua, WI to Madison Sunday afternoon to claim the season-long Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar “Red Sox Experience” sweepstakes that includes four tickets to the August 29th Red Sox game versus the Chicago White Sox at Fenway Park and round-trip airfare from Milwaukee.

Residents of Janesville, the Mitby family was vacationing in northern Wisconsin when they received word Saturday that they had been selected out of 815 entries. Cheryl, who was awarded the tickets by Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar General Manager Joe Burdick (pictured below) on the field before the game, also threw out a ceremonial first pitch (pictured, left).

Now the most popular member of the Mitby family at the moment, Cheryl knows she has a tough decision to make. She states that the first two to join her on the trip will be her husband and daughter Britta.

“I’m not really sure how we’re going to decide who gets that fourth ticket,” Cheryl said. “Right now I’m just ecstatic and thankful for the opportunity that Boston’s Restaurant and the Mallards have awarded my family…we’re all kind of in shock right now.”

But, she does know one thing for sure.

“I’m hoping to meet Ben Affleck at the game…that would be pretty cool,” Cheryl said with a wide smile.
