Madison, WI – August 14, 2008. Canada here we come, eh? Game two of the Northwoods League Championship Series versus the Thunder Bay Border Cats is Saturday and YOU have the opportunity to cheer the team to a victory in-person!
A fan bus will leave the “Duck Pond” at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning and return upon completion of the series (either Sat. or Sunday night). Round-trip bus fare costs $ 50 for fans and $ 40 for host families, employees, and families of players, and includes a ticket to the game and food/beverages to and from Thunder Bay. If the series continues to Sunday, fans will be responsible for purchasing hotel rooms on their own (special rates will be available). Both Saturday and Sunday’s* games will begin at 7:05 p.m. EST. (if necessary)
If you do not have a passport to cross the U.S.-Canada border you will NEED to bring a birth certificate and photo identification. Please triple-check that you have these items upon boarding the bus so we can cross the border in a timely fashion!
